Dear Thought Leader,

It’s an especially ‘Happy Friday’ with ‘Canada’s’ hockey team, the Winnipeg Jets advancing to the conference final! #GoJetsGo!

One of the highlights of this week’s Top 10 features a podcast interview with Mark Breadner, President & Founder, First Robotics Canada fresh back from the World Championships in Detroit.  We had a great conversation about the evolution of robotics and STEM in education, its impact on student learning, careers and global competencies, and the importance of making learning fun! It was also interesting to learn about our new Governor General keynoting and the security detailed involved.

Be sure to check out this week in Canadian EdTech recorded periscope for deeper insights on what’s happening across the Canadian landscape and beyond.

Kudos to featured award winners from Peel DSB and ORION!

We’re busy finalizing plans for ISTE18 and our CanAm Celebration of Excellence Meetup. Check out the ISTE keynotes just announced in this issue.

I hope you enjoy this week’s Top10.  We’re inspired by the many pockets of excellence we see across Canadian education systems, and welcome your comments and continued updates!

Until next time, keep the digital learning curve steep!

P.S. Our Super Early Bird Registration is now open! Canada’s 9th Canadian EdTech Leadership Summit >> Reimagining Next Generation Sustainable Learning Environments.
