Dear Thought Leader,

Happy Friday! I trust you had a terrific and productive week as we near in on the holiday season with the many school concerts and celebrations.

I hope you enjoy this week's Top 10 that kicks off with an interesting auditor general's report on the lack of tech in schools.

In honour of Computer Education Week and Hour of Code this past week, I’m pleased to feature a reflection podcast with two of Canada’s most notable EdTech leaders, friend and colleague, Peter Skillen and Michael Furdyk, Co-founder of TakingITGlobal, who were successful on the CanCode Project now offering a FREE program to schools, “Code to Learn,” which Peter currently leads.

What a difference a year makes! My passion project MindShare WorkSpace celebrated its 1st anniversary last weekend! While there were many highlights, the lunch & learn discussion on the Future of Work, Learning & Living Well, could have gone on all afternoon. The conversation was rich, insightful and inspiring! Be sure to also checkout the link to the recorded stream of world class violinist, Isaac Eng, an OISE Masters student, who entertained us with some upbeat festive and modern violin music. Sure to put you in the mood for the holiday season!

As part of our 1st year celebration of the MindShare Workspace, we're inviting newish EdTech Startups to join us for a FREE month in January!

With that, I thank you for all that you do for your students as an educator and EdTech innovator. Keep us in the loop when you have events or exciting news to share!

Until next time, keep the digital learning curve steep!

Best,
